The Build ME Blocks Program consists of three parts:
The Basics
The Basics helps children learn of the rules, guidelines and limitations that are required of them, while giving parents a plan to follow, helping to keep consistency with the kids. This is great because consistency is stated as a top tool in decreasing the need for constant disciplinary action. The visual reminders help children focus on what they can do to help themselves and their family be happy, peaceful, fun, creative and many more positive attributes. Visually seeing what is expected of them helps children keep the picture in their head instead of needing to recall the words.
You Are A Treasure Box
You are a Treasure Box helps children recognize the good they do and the things they can accomplish. The visuals help the children see the things that they have completed and accomplished through hands on placement of tokens onto a playing board. You are a Treasure Box has several different themes to choose from. Themes include: Goals, Love, Challenges, Confidence, Caring, Self-Esteem, Service and Courage.
Special Agent Mission
Special Agent Mission was created to give children a fun way of looking at work and the things they "have to do." Each child is asked to accept a special agent mission, they receive a special agent notebook and are given a backpack (constructed of paper) of their own, tokens available to earn, missions to accomplish and the opportunity for obstacle busters to retain the full value points of their mission. Once their backpack is filled with their tokens, they receive a special agent map with token markers and set out to find their matching marker. When all markers are found they receive their earning for their missions completed during the game.
