Read for Scoops! is a motivational program set to help encourage children to make reading a habit.
Read for Scoops! Goal:
To get children to pick a book up on their own and enjoy being able to read and appreciate and have fun with what they are reading.

How it works:
- Children will be given a blank ice cream cone to color and an ice cream cone and scoop punch card. Each cone on the punch card is worth 10 minutes of reading.
- Children fill up the card and receive a blank scoop of ice cream to color. They put that scoop on their cone.
- Children collect three scoops of ice cream on their cone and they've earned a trip to get ice cream (or something that has to do with "sweet" ice).
- Repeat
